Description
THREE CUCUMBERS, THREE WAYS TO HARVEST
A cucumber collection for the summer kitchen.
Grow round yellow fruit, familiar green slicers, and a cucumber selected for pickling. Each variety comes in its own full-size packet so you can choose how much of each to sow.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
One packet of each.
Lemon Cucumber
Round, pale yellow cucumbers for fresh eating. Harvest while tender, before the skin deepens in color and toughens.
Marketmore 76
A dark green slicing cucumber for salads, sandwiches, and everyday summer harvests.
National Pickling
A shorter, bumpy cucumber for pickling. Pick often at the size your recipe needs.
PLAN FOR VINES
Warm soil and room to grow.
Give cucumbers a sunny site, consistent moisture, and their recommended spacing. Direct sow after frost when the soil has warmed, or use a brief indoor start and transplant gently. A sturdy trellis can make fruit easier to find and keep vines organized.
You do not need to sow every seed. Start with the plants your space can support and follow each variety page for harvest size and timing.
PACKET COUNTS AT A GLANCE
60 seeds across three separate packets.
- Lemon Cucumber: 20 seeds.
- Marketmore 76: 20 seeds.
- National Pickling: 20 seeds.
Seed counts are not guaranteed plant counts. Each packet is the same full-size packet sold individually.
BEFORE YOU SOW
A few useful details.
Can I substitute a variety?
This is a fixed collection. All three varieties are also available separately.
Can I grow all three together?
Yes, with suitable space and support. Growing them together does not change the cucumbers you harvest that season. Seed saving needs a separate plan to maintain variety identity.
Can I use any recipe for canning?
For shelf-stable pickles, follow a current tested preservation recipe and its processing instructions. A seed collection does not supply a canning recipe.
