4 full-size seed packets4 culinary herbs

In stock

A useful kitchen-garden mix with four distinct herbs: Thai Basil, Mammoth Long Island Dill, Slow Bolt Cilantro, and Green Shiso. Shiso seed freshness and lot-specific germination guidance matter when planning sowings.

The collection moves beyond a single flavor profile and gives you herbs for fresh summer cooking, garnishes, pickling, seed harvest, and a little room to experiment.

You are buying four individual seed packets, not live plants.

Shipping: $5.95 standard shipping; free at $35+ in qualifying value, to the 48 contiguous U.S. states. Eligible collections count at their regular packet value; coupon rules apply. Description

A KITCHEN GARDEN WITH RANGE

Four herbs that do not all taste—or grow—the same.

Thai Basil, Mammoth Long Island Dill, Slow Bolt Cilantro, and Green Shiso give you a broader herb garden than a stack of near-identical culinary standards. Use them fresh, succession-sow where it makes sense, and let a few plants mature when you want flowers or seed.

Plan by season: basil and shiso are warm-season leaf crops, cilantro favors cooler windows, and tall dill can supply fronds, green pickling heads, or mature seed. Keep cilantro in a separate, movable pot if growing in containers. Shiso seed freshness and actual-lot germination directions deserve early attention; see the shiso sowing guide.

Choose it for: everyday cooking plus a couple of flavors you may not already be growing.

WHAT’S INSIDE

Four distinct herbs for the working kitchen garden.

Thai Basil

Fragrant warm-season basil with green leaves, purple stems, and a flavor profile that earns its own place beside sweet basil.

Mammoth Long Island Dill

A tall dill for fresh leaves first and seed heads later. Useful around cucumbers, potatoes, fish, pickles, and anywhere fresh dill makes sense.

Slow Bolt Cilantro

A cilantro selected for a slower move toward flowering than many common types. Harvest leaves young, then let plants finish if you want coriander seed.

Green Shiso

A fragrant warm-season herb with a flavor that can suggest citrus, mint, clove, and anise. It is the collection’s deliberate step outside the usual herb rack.

DON’T SOW THE WHOLE HERB DRAWER AT ONCE

Let the seasons set the pace.

These four herbs do not want identical conditions. Basil and shiso are warm-season plants. Cilantro is much happier when conditions are cooler. Dill can be succession-sown so you have younger foliage while earlier plants are moving toward flowers and seed.

That staggered rhythm can keep the herb garden useful for longer than one giant sowing on one weekend.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Before you add the collection.

Can I swap an herb in the collection?

No. This fixed collection contains Thai Basil, Mammoth Long Island Dill, Slow Bolt Cilantro, and Green Shiso. Each is also available individually.

Are these full-size packets?

Yes. They are the same full-size Hollowstead packets sold individually.

Do the four herbs get planted on the same schedule?

No. That is why the individual packet and product-page guidance matters. Cilantro generally prefers cooler conditions than basil or shiso, and succession sowing can make sense for several herbs.

Can I harvest seed as well as leaves?

Dill and cilantro can both be allowed to mature for seed. If you plan to save seed for replanting, follow variety-appropriate seed-saving practices and pay attention to cross-pollination.
